Biatain Ag Adhesive Heel is a soft, conformable polyurethane foam dressing with silver designed to manage exuding wounds and reduce the risk of infection. Its 3D foam structure provides high absorption, while the silver complex offers broad antimicrobial protection throughout the wear time.
The dressing features a hydrocolloid adhesive border for secure fixation, especially in areas requiring extra adhesion such as the heel. It can be worn for up to 7 days depending on exudate levels and is suitable for use under compression therapy.
It is commonly used for leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, skin abrasions, and diabetic foot ulcers.
